Celertec CAT6 Outdoor Solid Copper Cable – 305m Drum (23AWG, UV-Resistant, Black)

Celertec CAT6 Outdoor Solid Copper Cable – 305m Drum (23AWG)

Power your outdoor network infrastructure with confidence. The Celertec CAT6 Outdoor Solid Copper Cable is engineered for demanding outdoor environments — purpose-built for ISP last-mile deployments, campus LANs, CCTV backbone runs, and long-haul structured cabling in Uganda and across East Africa.

This is a full 305-metre (1,000 ft) drum of genuine solid bare copper conductor cable — not CCA (Copper-Clad Aluminium). Solid copper ensures lower resistance, better signal integrity, and superior PoE performance over long distances, making it the professional's choice for mission-critical networks.

Key Specifications

• Category: CAT6 (Class E), IEEE 802.3 compliant
• Conductor: 23AWG solid bare copper (100% pure copper)
• Configuration: 4 pairs, UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair)
• Outer Jacket: UV-resistant HDPE double sheathing — rated for direct burial & aerial deployment
• Bandwidth: 250 MHz
• Speed: Up to 1 Gbps (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Drum Length: 305 metres (1,000 ft)
• Operating Temp: -20°C to +75°C
• Colour: Black
• Standard: TIA/EIA-568-C.2, ISO/IEC 11801

Why Solid Copper Matters for Your ISP

CCA cables degrade over distance — especially under PoE loads. For any deployment powering MikroTik access points, wireless backhaul equipment, IP cameras, or GPON ONTs, solid copper is non-negotiable. It ensures your PoE budget stays predictable and your cable runs last 10+ years in the field.

Standard 305m drums of high-grade outdoor-rated solid copper network cable (such as premium alternatives like Giganet) generally range from USh 795,000 to USh 1,100,000 at physical IT distribution shops. We supply the Celertec at USh 795,000 — the competitive entry point with no compromise on quality.

Ideal Applications

• ✅ ISP last-mile drops to subscriber premises
• ✅ Outdoor campus LAN and school network cabling
• ✅ CCTV surveillance backbone runs
• ✅ Aerial & duct installations (UV + moisture resistant)
• ✅ PoE-powered access point and CPE deployments
• ✅ Direct burial without conduit (double-sheathed variants)

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this cable pure solid copper or CCA?
The Celertec uses 100% solid bare copper (23AWG) — not CCA. Solid copper ensures lower resistance, consistent PoE performance, and longevity in outdoor deployments.

Q: Can it be used for direct burial?
Yes. The UV-resistant HDPE double sheath is rated for aerial, conduit, and direct burial installation.

Q: What is the maximum PoE run distance?
23AWG solid copper CAT6 supports PoE reliably up to 100m per TIA-568 standards. For runs beyond 100m, use a PoE extender or intermediate switch.

Q: How many metres are on the drum?
305 metres (1,000 ft) — the industry-standard reel size for structured cabling and ISP projects.

Q: What is the price of CAT6 outdoor cable in Uganda?
USh 795,000 at NetEdge Supplies. Alternatives like Giganet range USh 795,000–1,100,000 at Kampala IT distribution shops.

Q: Compatible with MikroTik equipment?
Fully compatible with all MikroTik RouterBOARD, CRS switches, and IEEE 802.3 Gigabit Ethernet devices including PoE-powered CPEs and APs.
